Ravi Shankar died as he was suffering from cancer. His relatives could not come due to lockdown. Many Muslims came and performed the last rites of Ravi Shankar. Due to Lockdown people are not allowed to come out of their houses.
Shankar’s son said that Muslim neighbors helped them and supported them as no one came to their house. The relatives failed to come to Ravi’s house but the Muslim neighbors came and performed last rites, they even chanted “Ram Nam Satya he” while taking his body and followed the Hindu rituals properly.
The Muslim neighbors said that as Ravi was their neighbor they decided to help his family, they even said that humanity comes first. They even helped the family with all the necessities during the Lockdown. They have set an example for everyone.

When news about it was spread on the social media people from different parts of the world appreciated the Muslim neighbors who were considerate and respected Ravi. This shows that the world is not only about religion it’s about humanity first and then the rest.
The area where Ravi lived has always been know for communal tensions. But this situation where Hindu and Muslim came together has set an example of love for each other’s religion and the importance of a family and family member.
The entire country has been witnessing a 21 days Lockdown and people are at staying in their homes due to Coronavirus and people are not allowed to go out as there is a risk. This is the time when there must be unity among people and People must come forward to help each other.
