Saudi Arabia’s government has decided to allow people to perform Umrah. The Crowd control Management in Makkah is deciding to allow people to perform Umrah in limited numbers.

Saudi Arabia to resume Umrah.
Saudi Arabia had closed the Holy Mosques of Mecca and Madinah due to Coronavirus in order to protect the people the Saudi government has closed both the holy mosques. An only a limited number of cleaners and people were allowed to enter the mosques.
Recently the Saudi Arabia’s government has released a statement about Hajj. People will be allowed to perform Hajj who is only in Saudi Arabia. This year people from other countries will not be allowed to visit Saudi Arabia due to the Pandemic.

Authorities are planning to resume Umrah too. The crowd control Management in Makkah is now planning how to control the crowd during Umrah. Madinah has been declared as Coronavirus free and decided to allow people to perform Umrah has to be taken.
As per Al-Arabia, the authorities have taken the following measures: The Masjid Al Haram will now be opened for only 40% of the time as people should maintain Social Distancing.
For measuring the temperature of people visiting Masjid Al Haram thermal Cameras will be installed. Those who will have a high temperature will not be allowed to enter the Mosque.
All the people should wear Face mask compulsorily. The second floor of the Mosque will be for the needy and old people. People can perform Tawaf on the ground floor, first and second floor of the mosque. The central area will be closed and the crowd will not be allowed to go there.

The number of people who will be performing Hajj this year is still not known as a limited number of people who can perform Hajj. Measures are being taken to protect people and maintain social distancing. Hospitals are also being arranged in case of emergency.
